Counseling

Summit Psychology works with individuals to address life struggles including phase-of-life difficulties, mood disturbances such as depression and anxiety, family and marriage therapy, and living with chronic illnesses.   Individuals seeking counseling services with Dr. Miller & Associates range in ages from 9 years old through adult.

Our approach to counseling is cognitive behavioral with an emphasis in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Dr. Miller & Associates have a special interest in working with individuals and families living with cancer and other life threatening illnesses.  He receives a grant from First United Methodist Church in Durango to provide counseling services at a reduced cost for families living with cancer.


Counseling services begin with an 80-minute intake.  Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes.  Family therapy sessions are offered at 50 minutes or 80 minutes.  Please contact Summit Psychology to learn more about rates for these services.


Neurofeedback

Summit Psychology offers neurofeedback training services for children ages 3 and up, adolescents, and adults. Neurofeedback services begin with an 80-minute intake. Individual neurofeedback sessions are 30 minutes in length, or 50 minutes if paired with counseling. You can find out more about neurofeedback here. Testing and Evaluations

Summit Psychology provides comprehensive psychological evaluations for schools, social service agencies, and private individuals.  Evaluations  are provided for individuals as young as 6 years old through adult. 

Individuals may seek evaluations to help in the diagnosis of learning disabilities or to identify psychological and personality functioning.  Dr. Miller & Associates' assessment experience includes completing evaluations for the Department of Human Services, Department of Social Security, the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church, the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, the Colorado Department of Parole, and for private individuals, families and schools.
